Yes there is a way to get ridd of the black or white on the panels:
the problem is 'water'! Or 'the seas created ingame' Everything which has a depth below 0m creates those black boxes. So if you open the stage editor and edit the heights to a possitive value the problem is solved. You can also delete these points to make the map flat at those points.
