what happens to the national champion jersey of countries who don't have a nat champ race within the game? does it stay with the same person for the whole game or does it get passed around riders randomly. or does it get given to the highest ranking rider from that country?

also, what about nat champ jersey that are currently on riders that aren't on the game? will they be back next season or are they lost forever?

for some countries you recive a message with who's the new champion. The others just keep the same national champion every single year.
