Italian police have confiscated the samples from last year's Giro to test them for CERA.
Giro director Zomegnan, who as usual has done all he can to stop testing from happening, admits "there should be quite a few positives".
Screw you Zomegnan

This is going to be fun. My guess is that between stage 7 and 8 there will be some riders who get arrested. |

I just remembered something.
Think of what they did to Valverde.
Now they have the Giro08 samples....they have Contador's blood.
Now they can DNA match it to the blood bags named "A.C." from Puerto...
2+2 equals........

That's the million dollar question. Because if they do, look no further than the blood bags that the infamous "document 31" labels "A.C."

I'm sure they would put 2+2 together with A.C.
Let's hope so though

Just as a general question, how would it work if Contador's tests are negative from last years Giro, but they match the DNA to O.P.? There wouldn't be proof that he's cheating now (besides all the signs that point to it...). Can they ban someone from something that happened 5 years ago? |

Yes. Hence why Valverde is in such a panic.

If they can do that with that with Valverde, they could to do the same with Contador.
