Top Five Favorite Songs
Levi4life
I was fiddling around with my stereo and got the sudden urge to post this thread. I've always been kinda curious what kinds of music people from other parts of the world listen too. So if you have time to burn then post your top 5 favorite songs (and the artists so i can check them out)
1. Back in Black by:AC/DC This is just a song that gets me pumped when i hear it while riding headphones in ears.
2. Fade to Black by: Metallica. As a musician the guitar riff 4 minutes into the song is just amazing.
3. Down on the Corner by: Creedence CLearwater Revival. just a fun song
4. Black Friday Rule by: Flogging Molly An awesome song live (trust me)
5. King Without a Crown by: Matisyahu Normaly a raggae type artist wouldn't interest me but this song is just great.

That was an extremely hard list to make. So many songs i couldn't fit in. Have fun with this!Grin

The Killers - When You Were Young
Muse - Starlight
The Killers - Mr Brightside
Muse - Time is Running Out

The Killers - When you were young - Just a great song to listen to
Queen - Don't Stop me Now - An absolute classic, just better than Bohemian Rhapsody I say
Boston - More than a Feeling - Only recently heard it, so will probably move out of my top 5 in a while
The Beatles - Hey Jude - One of th best live tracks ever
The Coral - Dreaming of You (Radio 1's Live Lounge) - A great song, shmae it's so short

Of course, these will probably change over time (well, apart from Queen), but at the moment, probably my favourites.
SN, Muse and Killers, great choice, Time is Running Out would definitely be in my top 10, as would Mr Brightside Wink

And this is the worst song lyric of all time:

I don't want to see a ghost,
It's the sight that I fear most,
I'd rather have a piece of toast,
Watch the evening news.

I only like the ELO song as it's a happy song, and cheers you up.

the Gossip one, i understand is a bit of a weird choice, and to be honest it isn't one of my favourite songs so i don't know why it is there, i will change it to Gary Moore
if you haven't heard of him, which you won't have then i shall try to put a link up so you can have a bit of a listen to his guitar skillsWink

that would be Rihanna - Umbrella then SmoothiePfft

I just noticed that. Bohemian Rhapsody just barely didnt make the list. There was so many Jimi Hendrix songs particularly Castles made of Sand, Panama from Van Halen. Also the Ramones, the who DragonForce and smashmouth were contenders.

Hard too decide, but after a lot of thinking and listening i have made a listSmile

1: The Clash - English Civil War
2: Ramones - My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down (Bonzo Goes To Bitburg)
3: Toy Dolls - My Wife's A Psychopath
4: UK Subs - Same Thing
5: Judas Priest - The Ripper

Bon Scott resides not far from me, albeit he lives below ground level.

Fav 5 Songs. Hard to say as it depends what mood I'm in and most of the music I listen to are from concept Albums - Roger Waters, Amused to Death and the Final Cut, adio KAOS etc. The Songs compliment each other to build on a theme.
I'll list some of my Favourites - can't list just 5. Here's 10, that I Enjoy again and again. I don't listen to a lot of Music, when commuting I prefer to listen to talkback radio lol.

Artist followed by Song Title in no particular order, not including Classical or anything which dates prior to 1970,Number 4 and 5 are Themed around Australian Soldiers and Vietnam War Conflict. Number 3 and 8 are covers of which I prefer the Covered Version to the Original.

1. Guns and Roses - Sweet Child of Mine
2. Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms
3. Jeff buckley - Hallellujah
4. Cold Chisel - Khe Sanh
5. RedGum - I was only 19
6. Cat Stevens - Father to Son
7. Choirboys - Run to Paradise
8. Urge Overkill - Girl You'll be a Woman Soon
9. Queen - It's a kind of Magic
10. Alice in Chains - Brother(Unplugged Version)

Oh and I enjoy some of the songs on PCM2007, quite catchy, even the French Sounding one lol.
