When I am in the final of a race, no matter what type (flat, cobblestones, hills, mountains), the riders always slow down... Both mine and the AI... If I try to take relay at 70%, the speed just goes way down and the pulse drops to around 140... Same thing with the AI... If they take reæay the pace slows down drastictly... If I try the dot, same thing happen... If I try to attack when this happens, same thing happens whem Im solo... I get a little time to the followers, put it on dot 70 put my rider just slows down again... It doesny matter if I use the dot or relays and the percent doesnt matter either... 50, 70 or 80%... Same thing... Any help? I got the newest patch and this happens with every database I use... |

Its not the game pace... Its the riders... It doesnt matter if Im 5 or 30 km from goal... Oh yeah, my energy bars are approximatly half full.. Both red, green and yellow... |

you need to put the work rate up more then 70%. think, if your gonna break with 30k to go then it will take a huge effort. 100% maybe.
plus if the peleton don't want to let you go then you won't get away no matter how hard you ride.
it takes more effort to ride in the break then in the peleton so you need to ride at a much higher % then you would be in the peleton. 70% id too low.

The % doesnt matter! I tried both 70, 80 and 90... And if i ask him to do for example dot70, his pace shouldnt slow down to half and his heartrate drop below 150... THAT is my problem... I know how to escape the peloton and all the other stuff... |

I don't think anyone else (besides me ) is understanding what you are saying. I personally haven't experienced this and have no idea as how you would go about fixing that.
If I understand you correctly, you are saying that even at 30km out, you can put a cyclist at 90% offort on dot and his heart rate will drop below 150. |

I've noticeds omething that happens to me in the sprints. If I try to put the dot to 99% my riders just totally give up and fall behind in the peloton. I just quit doing this and followed other people's wheels instead, but it only happens to me in the sprints though. The rest of the race works out perfectly fine. So it sounds kinda weird. Hmm... |

Thats right... An example: In the Paris-Roubaix my rider (Ballan) attacks with about 40 km to the finishline... Boonen, Cancellara, Nuyens and Pozzato join me and we form a group... I put Ballan to infinite relay at 70% to keep the pace up... Suddenly his speed drops to very slow and his heartrate drops drasticly... I ask him to maintain position in hope of the other riders will make an effort... But they dont... They ride just as slow and the peloton catches us... I attack again and put it on dot80... Same thing happens and he got caught again...
Alpe d´huez stage: my rider (Moncoutie) attacks with about 5 km left... He gets about 40 secs to the chasing group... I put it on dot90 to maintain high speed and hopefully make it home solo... But wait... Whats this!? His losing speed rapidly and looking at his heartrate he could just as easily be going down the mountain...
Hope you understand me now |

I also see this in flanders. I have pozzato in the 7 man lead group. Suddenly the pace slow down(I try relay80% but cannot go to front) and we are caught by a group which was 1.30 behand. I guess it is due to strong wind or simply a bug. |

you are able to attack with Moncoutie in L´Alpe d´Huez 5km to go, holding effort on 90%, making nice gap before chasers and STILL have enough of yellow and red bar? This is quite weird |
