And how do you update salaries for riders ? I lowered them all in DYN_cyclist_contract, but in the game I'm 90.000 over my budget, which means I can't even sign any riders above wage of 1500 ... which is ridiculous.

The amount of money you have to pay your riders depends on how good they are. If you alter the stats of a rider, you will see that the amount of money spend on that rider is increased as well.
The only thing I can think of right now is that you gave your team too many good riders (which you don't need I think, but well, that's my opinion), so you could retransfer some of your teams riders to other teams. Another option is to alter your teams budget, so that the amount of money you can spent on riders salaries is increased also...
I play with Quick Step, yes. And I have modified some of the younger guy's stats to have more of a future GT team. So selling is a nono for me, if I don't have to.
Only want to be able to resign my riders when they go out of contract. Now, I can't since I don't have any budget, not even to sign - say - Rosseler.

the one you mentioned may very well be it, though i though it was a column named finance_f_wage_allowed or something, but as i can't find that, the one you mentioned may be it

OK, so now I guess I have to start a career, then progress 1 day to be able to have the database filled in? Because initially it's all 0's, for all teams ... Then up the value with the amount I am in debt in the game. Well anyways, that sounds like a plan - I'll see what happens.

But the problem is : I start a new career, pick my team, set my manager skills. Then, to at least do one action, I bought some material - frames, wheels and helmet. Then when I quit the game, there is no savegame in the MyDocs\...\Solo\[DB_Name] folder. That's why I thought that maybe you have to progress one day, that maybe the game only writes changes to the DB on a dayturn ?
Anyway, no worries, I'm beginning to like DB editing anywayz
