Do you mean when you double click PCM Icon, then click play game on yellow screen,
It doesn't do anything? If so that's also my problem, and i've reinstalled it about 5 times

Basically, When I made a got the game first, I installed it, then installed the Patch but accidentally installed a database which wasn't compatible with the patch (didn't know this at first). Then when i double-clicked the PCM 2007 Icon on my desktop, it comes up with that yellow screen, then you click "play game" (which i did), and nothing happened. Even when i click on task manager there is no programme or PCM 2007 programme running. I've reinstalled (like i said) about 5 times since and still nothing, even when i install it with no patch, no editing, and don't download anything it still happens. HELP ME!!!!
Is this enough information? |

Uninstall, go to the folder where it was stored, if there is anything there, delete it (make sure you can see hidden files) then reinstall

Have you checked the PCM savegame-directory? Its in C:\My documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\ You should delete those files as well... |

Are you sure you deleted the Pro Cycling Manager-folder which is hidden? The hidden folderi s named "Application Data" and is located in C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username. Make sure you can see hidden folders. In the directory, click "Tools" and choose "Folder Options". Click "Show" and set a fly's leg in the "Show hidden folders"-text. "Application Data" will now show up. Inside that folders, there's a Pro Cycling Manager 2007-folder. Delete it.
Also, make sure everything else PCM-related is deleted. Go to Program Files and check if there's a Cyanide folder. If there is, delete it. Go to your documents folder and delete the Pro Cycling Manager-folder.
Now, try again. |

I haven't tried that yet, fingers crossed it will work though, even if it doesn't, you are a legend CrueTrue!
CrueTrue, we don't have users, when i click documents and settings it comes up with:
Administrator, All users, Compaq_Owner (Compaq:name of computer). Which one do i click on???

Try this....when installing, install all the applications in the wizard (game, gamecenter, directx and vcredist files).
Say if it works...I had that problem the first time I installed the game.

It's in the "Compaq_Owner"-folder then. Inside that folder, there's the Application Folder (if you can see hidden folders, that is) |

But I think that if he not entered the game once after installing there is no hidden folder. I don't think that, I am almost sure.

When uninstalling the game, that folder is - as far as I know - not deleted. Therefore, it could very well be the source for the crashes. |

But he managed to enter in the game? I know that db's which are not compatible it's needed to erase the folder pro cycling manager 2007 inside the application data, but i think the folder is not created before enter in the game. It is what happens with me, at least.

Let's see if it works. There's no reason to discuss if it works. If it does, great, if it doesn't, too bad. |

Yes, of course. It depends on the computer, not from our stipulations. I was just asking if he managed to enter in the game at least one time, because if not is very strange.

There is no "application folder" in the Compaq_Owner file. I'm really stuck. |
