what do people on here think about it? opinion is very divided here in england. personally i think it's horrible. looks like a cricket or tennis shirt with the england badge on it.
i can see where they are going with the whole traditional theme, but do they really expect in the current financial situation for people to pay £50 for a plain white polo t-shirt with the england badge on it.

Jep same here..clean..classic. Thank good most of football teams have left designer brain and traditions. I hate in cycling ..when they wear national flag with hand, head and leg holes. |

Yeah well...
I cant decide if i like it or not. Its too simple and too bland. Its simply boring im afraid. What happened with the concept of using two colours?

the reason i don't like it isn't because of the concept. i agree that a traditional shirt would look nice if done properly. but what we've got is a polo shirt with an england badgo on. it's as simple as that.
if it was really a nice shirt then they wouldn't have to bombard us with all these production video's of the theory behind the kit to try to get us to understand it. if you just saw the kit with none of the advertisment and nostalgia crap that they've been spewing since the release you'd just think "it's a polo shirt with an england badge on it". But because of all the advertising people think it's "classic". it's not. it's a polo shirt plain and simple.
the FA have paid umbro millions of pounds to design this kit and that what they come up with? |
