I was wondering how people thought riders such as Ivan Dominguez should be dealt with involving their nationality.
The Cuban Missile, is, as you can guess, Cuban, but he recently earned his American citizenship. With that comes eligibility for the US Championships. From his recent interviews it seems clear he wants to be considered an American racer, despite being Cuban.
I was wondering what nationality people might consider giving him and other riders in the same position in DB's. I also think it might be an interesting discussion.
Personally I think he should be considered an American, as that seems to be what he wants.
Which national championships he can race in, what teams are more likely to sign him and which team he can race for in the worlds. Don't think there's anything else, so those three factors should be the only ones with any weight.
And in this case, the most realistic way to approach all three questions is to set him as American. So for me that settles it
To be honest i think that he should with the nationality and country he was born, because i believe you should always stick with your nationality at birth and untill death but thats my opionion and i would have no problems or anything against him calling him american.

Agreed. So look out for the 'new' American, Ivan Dominguez, in the V3
