OK, here's a little something for you that should leave you a little puzzled.

It's fairly simple. Here we go:

When a fly hits the front window of a train, what happens?

The train carries on at the same speed, the fly stops very suddenly.

Or does it?

Here is the very short and very puzzling piece of Physics.

Newton's Third Law states:

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.


Therefore, the action of the train hitting the fly must produce an equal and opposite reaction...from the fly hitting the train.

Therefore, if this is true, then at a certain point in time when the fly hits the train, the forces are equal - and the train must therefore be staionary, because the fly must also be stationary!!!

Now how's that for puzzling!!!Grin

And please feel free to now destroy my argument using Newton's Laws, I know the big gaping holes in this argument Wink
