We may be in Amsterdam - but home advantage doesnt seem to be helping Heimans!
A quick finish is not enough, and Heimans is the first to go
A close finish came in the next elimination - and Kneisky is out
A further close finish followed, Bobridge falls this time
It looked like we could have yet another tight finish next, but on the line Dostal was clearly eliminated

Tight again - but Muntaner has been gapped
But in a quick finish he just sneaks through, with Viviani knocked out
Petrovskiy is add the back ahead of the next elimination, but there is a gap open to it
He makes use of the gap, and it is Avila who is eliminated
Christian, Muntaner, Lauge and Kluge are at the back ahead of the next elimination
Muntaner seems to be on the back foot
But it is Mark Christian who is knocked out

Again in the thick of things, Muntaner is battling against O'Reilly
The Spaniard flies over the top, and the American is knocked out
Theres no such battle in the next elimination, as Petrovskiy's race ends
The race is still wide open in terms of who could win
But it wont be De Neef, who is completely empty and now out
Next time round it is 2 riders who have little left: Muntaner and Shchedov.
In a tight photo finish, Muntaner manages to survive once again
Its all red now, but Muntaner must surely soon be out of energy - perhaps Aeschbasch is struggling too?
No, the Swiss rider comes past and the Santander rider is now finally out

Kluge, Lauge and Aeschbasch are the 3 remaining riders
Kluge has been on the front for over 3 and half laps by the time Lauge comes past him
The German's only hope is to block Aeschbasch out of contention
But it cant be done, and Kluge must settle for 3rd
Lauge will lead out Aeschbasch, with the latter looking for a 2nd consecutive victory
Aeschbasch makes his move - can Lauge respond?
Aeschbasch's gap just gets bigger, and he cruises to another win!
