hi ,
does anyone have a link for this DB in a exe format ?
I am so bad with my computer that i cant install any new DB in rar.format .
it has never worked for me and i suppose that it never will.
I post my request here because i would need to provide a working email adress to register on the official cyanide forum , and i don't have any.
Also i spent all day trying to exctrat the good way my rar. files and i am deseperate to play with this DB which tends to be the best one.
so help me god .
cheers. |

It's better to learn how to install .rar-files than asking all db makers to make .exe files
So, did you download WinRAR? |

Of course i did
and there is more : i even exctract all the files to what i suppose is the good location .
for example : gui goes to c/programmefiles/cyanide/pcm/gui and documents goes to documents/programme files/pcm2008 B)
i look at all the folder and all the files have been correctly extracted .
but the thing is that i dont see the new database on the game option , and there is more : once i installed the fodzal db , i choose it on the game option but the teams havent change at all...
really strange isn't it ?
i hope i have been clear and that you can see a solution fo me. |

Why Electro? It needs to be in documents/pcm/mydocuments/database. |

It's in documents/pcm/mydocuments/database, but it doesn't show up in Options -> Database?
Are you sure that it has the .cdb extension? Try naming the file DB.cdb
Otherwise, try calling it OfficialRelease.cdb and put it in Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager/Database. |

-yes.

-it has not the cdb extension.
there is one cdb extension in documents/pcm called Local.cdb~ with a size of 1060 kb.
there is also 2 wrar type "stuff " with a size of 1060 kb : "OriginalLocal" and "Local"
- i called it as you said but i doesn't work
Otherwise, try calling it OfficialRelease.cdb and put it in Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager/Database.
-it doesn't work either.

PCMAssistance has been closed, as far as I remember.
Try taking a screenshot of your Database folder. I'd like to see if you're doing something wrong. |

I didn't see you had written mydocuments -- you don't need a mydocuments folder inside your PCM folder, so if you still have it, delete it |
