Checking disc error!

I installed PCM 08 again for some days ago, after a little break. And when I press start, its checking disc, and then I get an error message saying I must insert a valid disc. I bought the game right after it came out, and it has worked before..
Only thing since last time I played it, I have a new and better laptop. But that shouldnt be a problem?
Anyone?

Yes I did that to. I have even tried reinstall it, also uninstall it completely. But still the same problem.. |

Something similar to your problem was solved by updating the StarForce driver:
1. Open My Computer or Computer.
2. Open (C:) Local Disk.
3. Open Program Files or Programs folder.
4. Open Cyanide folder then Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2008 folder.
5. Run PCM-Protection.exe application file.
6. Check 'Download and install driver update' and click Next.
7. Click Yes.
8. Click OK.
9. Insert the PCM2008 DVD and start the game.

It still dont work.
Btw, this is the message i get when it comes up:
Attempt of using emulation software has been detected. Please, insert the licensed disc, deactivate emulation software and try again. |

Did you try doing what it says?
"Deactivate emulation software and try again"
E.g. Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120%. |

What kind of programs or software can it be? I dont have daemon tools, dont alcohol 120%. |

What about CD burning software? Nero Burning Rom?
Did you disable your firewalls?
And if it still doesn't work:
Run PCM2008 without inserting the game disc in your DVD drive.
If you get a message from the protection, please click 'Information' then 'View report' button.
Save and send the error report file to
