Didn't play the demo all that much, but only due to lack of time. It's paid for on steam, so I'll download it when I get home

Sea battles are incredible - just going to take a while to get the hang of them

Yup, they are. have you read/seen the stuff about the gusts of wind in naval battles? how you can use them to outmaneuver the enemy fleet? how you have to guess where the gusts are from the movement of the waves? tremendous

Medievel II wasn't a huge advance on Rome, but with this, it's like Rome being released again B)

I used to play Medieval Total War II a lot, but lost the CD
I'll probably try out the demo. The naval battles look exciting |

Which one? It's two dvd's.
Medieval 2 was my first Total War game, and I'm looking forward to this one...specially because I'm a fan of any game that involves naval battles (I'm a fan of Silent Hunter, for example)

I'm a big fan of Total War series, since Shogun Total War. But I'm afraid I won't buy this one. In Colombia I had a nice desktop computer, so it wasn't big deal. But since I'm in France I don't have but a laptop, and I don't think the graphic card (a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS) is good enough to play it. It's a pity. |

Wow no Ildabaoth. A 8600M GS should be able to run a lot of stuff. Sure its the cheap AND mobile version of the 8600, but it should still be comparable to my current graphic card in my stationary.

You should be able to run it with good quality. I expect to run it with great quality, with my 9600M GT.

I hope so. But, one more thing: I'm stuck with this stupid Windows Vista and I can't install XP because I don't have the license, so I'm already lacking of resources for top games. f***ing Vista. |
