The final stage is one for the fast men this year.

It was a hard fight to be in the break today because the sprinter teams thought four riders out front are too many. After pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/pum.png Rutsch and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/lpu.png Van Den Bossche couldn’t follow the others anymore the peloton was content with a two man break and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/brc.png Uhiriwe and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/grm.png Blume Levy were finally allowed some leeway.

The gap went up to 6’45, but with 120 km to go the peloton puts up the pace a bit to ensure there’ll be a sprint.

The two leaders just rolled through the intermediate sprint, but the only two contenders for the points jersey went for it. pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/ino.png Gaviria beats pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/yor.png Kemboi by a small margin, extending his lead to 27 points. This means pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/yor.png Kemboi has to finish at least 2nd today to still have a chance. If he does so a 14th place would be enough for the Colombian to defend the jersey. If the Kenyan wins pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/ino.png Gaviria needs to be 2nd.
