Stage 4 Report

Now it get serious. 195k with a couple of cat 2s in the first half but the main attraction is the finishing Cat 1 climb to Terminillo (16k at 7.5%). With the GC still close it seems unlikely the break will take this one, so we should see a battle for the stage between the top contenders.

At the top of the Cat 2 Munton goes a little early and Van Wilder steals the first spot from him, Munton just gets past Van Den Berg to save 2nd.

Munton easily wins the first sprint ahead of Jussaume. Peloton at 4’05 with UBS and Evonik keeping the gap under control for now.
