Stage 6


After five stages we still have no real gaps in the GC apart from time bonuses. If anyone wants to gain some time before (and apart from) the TT tomorrow it has to be today with one cat. 1 and two cat. 2 climbs in the final 35 km.

The sprint wasn’t at the top of the climb and following it the duo of pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/eav.png Gunnlaugsson and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/eav.png Lampawog dropped everyone else and is now the front of the race with a 1’29 lead over the peloton.

And afterwards he gets back to his teammate in front. That’s clearly not textbook tactics.

With 20 km to go the peloton arrives at the foot of the penultimate climb. It’s the steepest of the three and if someone wants to drop the TTers it should be done here.
