training fatigue
ringo182
is impossible to keep down! in my Rapha career half of my squad are already over 3/4 of the way to 100%. there training has hit the peak at the end of April to coinside with the EMC and the most days raced anyone in my squad has is 17, which isn't alot by the end of april. and for the EMC the highest fitness of any of my riders was only 89%. how am i expected to compete throughout the season if the fatigue bar rises so quickly.

does it drop if the riders get rested? i thought i read somewhere that it doesn't go down, or is that just if you max it out?

cheers

it definately drops, i had kirchen peak for Amstel Gold and the Worlds and his fatigue bar maxxed out after April but by july/august it was back down to half full.
In terms of fitness how many race days did they have because your calender looks pretty light going into the race and that could have been the limiting factor

Please assume I am joking unless otherwise stated

yeah, they were only at 89% because of lack of races. thats why it's even more annoying that their fatigue bars are so high. they only raced about 5 days in april.

Gentleman
One would wonder why the bar is still 'half-full' though. If you work 2 months towards a peak in April, for a week, I think it's kind of silly to need 3-4 months to get rested enough to get your fatigue down to only half. One would think that 3-4 months should be plenty to get fully rested when you don't do any training. Or else people would have major trouble when they peak for the Vuelta ... I mean, it's only 4 months until the season starts again and it would take them 6-8 months (say, May) only to get fully rested Wink
Not to mention the 2-3 months it takes to peak again Smile

Also keep in mind that the bar isn't optimized for PCM08, as far as I remember. When graphically maxed out, your riders do actually still have some fatigue points left.

Well, technically it doesn't really matter whether you have 2500 or 2700 fatigue points used up, as it skyrockets anyway whenever you peak. The small difference between the graphical visualisation and the actual value is therefore easily overlooked, as the difference would be like, 1 day extra peak?

I also noticed the fatigue-bar in the rider data-sheet is different from the one displayed in the squad-overview when clicking the dropdown-box and selecting training fatigue, or is that just me not looking properly?
