Three island nations gather to contest their national championships on a flat course, Peru and Ethiopia tag along.
Lagane, more known as a puncheur, is the best sprinter here, but two very famous roulers in Veyhe and Quispe on the start line.
As the 1-rider break is almost caught, with 38k to go, 5 riders launch off the front.
That attack is shut down by Mayer and Le Court with 17k to go and immediately Magnussen counters
With Podium Ambition struggling to close down the additional attack the chase is turned over to Oxxo while De Comarmond and then De Marigny-Lagesse, Grmay, and Van Vliet attack out of the peloton. 8k to go.
With 3k to go the 5 attackers have 26 seconds. 4 of the 5 nations represented in the attack with 2 Mauritians and nobody from Peru.
It looks like the attackers will take it as they open up the sprint under the 1k banner, peloton at 36 seconds.
De Marigny-Lagesse pulls away to win the race, he will be the Mauritian champion. Magnussen is 2nd and the champion of the Faroe Islands. De Comarmond takes 3rd but no title for him. Grmay and Van Vliet will be the Ethiopian and Aruban Champions.
Ruiz finishes one spot ahead of Quispe in the field sprint to take the Peruvian title.

Time Trial
Not a lot of strong TTers in this championship. Croes the heavy favorite to win the race and the Aruban title.
The first title locked up is for Peru where Ruiz again betters Quispe. He has been skunking Quispe for a while now, that is 4 consecutive doubles for Ruiz.
The last 4 riders on the course are the favorites for the other nations. Berhe wins the Ethiopian title by 34 second and then Mayer gets the job done, +1’15 on De Marigny-Lagesse.
Magnussen is the penultimate rider on the course and wins the Faroe Islands title by almost 2 minutes, he wins both titles. Behind him Croes is an even bigger winner for the Aruban title.
