Banaszek is the big name on the start list at the Polish National Championship as it is a flat course.
10k banner. Grupo Compacto. At the front Sajnok sitting behind one of the amateurs on his team. Banaszek sitting 4th wheel behind Kwiatkowski and Malecki.
4.2k to go, Lierse still taking accountability at the front. Kasperkiewicz launches an attack followed by Warchol and Kaczmarek.
The first attack is shut down but Kasperkiewicz goes again and all the other pros follow him. With just over 2k to go he relents.
They all look at each other until the sprint opens with 800 meters to go. Banaszek, 2nd from the right starts a little further back but has to be the favorite from here.
400 meters, Sajnok just staying with Banaszek, Rekita next.
Sajnok does well but Banaszek wins it. Rekita is third.
