I'm running a database which contains riders from the late 90s/early 00s. My team is ONCE, so I've a very strong squad and win plenty of races.
But the sponsors seem to have my team pegged as a bunch of no hopers and are delighted even when I finish 10th or 12th in a stage in a 2.1 category race.
Is there a way to change the expectations of the sponsors so they only get excited when you win big races?
I don't think that that's what penfold is looking for.
His problem is that his sponsors get a little too excited about his archievements -- which, as far as I'm aware, doesn't have much to do with his sponsor goals.
That said, I've no idea what has an effect on this. It could be the difficulty of the pre-set sponsor goals, but I assume that they are difficult enough already?
Yes, it's not the specific sponsor goals that are the issue, i.e. the ones located in the top left of the sponsor screen. It's the reactions of the sponsors to the other races. Whether I get 1,2,3,4 or 5 plusses beside my acheivements. I seem to be getting 5 plusses for relatively meaningless results.
In the DYN_Team lists, there is a column for rank_i_UCI. Its possible that the sponsor reactions are linked to this, as the higher up the rank system you go the more they expect.
Swapping the scores of our team with another higher ranked team might be worth a try?
Probably.....hmmmm.....maybe its the rankings from the previous year, rather than the current year - you could swap them without affecting the current year's rankings, and that might be the factor in determining teh sponsor reactions.
