Help with wheels, please!

Hi! I made a couple of Easton wheels for my own needs. I made them in photoshop, saved as 32-bit .dds files, but in game they look as white squares with a wheels drawed in them. Could someone tell me, what am I doing wrong, please!

Should they be .dds files? I've always thought they were .TGA files

I think it has to do with the background around the wheels when you create them...I believe that they must be transparent by changing the Alpha value...Not sure but I think I saw that somewhere, just like when you are making mini-versions of the jerseys.

Go to the channels tab (bottom right of the photoshop window - well, mine is), which is next to the layers tab (which is the default shown). Once on channels tab, click new layer, accept the name etc, should be a new alpha channel. Colour in using black and white the areas you want to be shown in game, and the areas you want hidden.

For the cheap way, open up a wheel file already made, go to channels tab, select the alpha channel, select it all with a select tool, copy and paste onto your alpha channel. That may or may not work.

Thanks, it works. I just made a file with transparent background and pasted there a graphics.
