unrealistic injuries
ringo182
i've been noticing this for a while but today i thought i'd see if anyone else feels the same. Does anyone else think that the injury system in the game is too unrealistic. eg riders with broken bones out for just a month?

Here is an example:

This is the injury table from my Rapha story. Look at Fabian Wegmann. He has a broken neck but he'll be back in mid feb. even if he broke it on the 1st of january he has only been out for a month and a half. I'm not a doctor but i thought a broken neck was pretty serious. When i was younger i tore the ligaments in my knee and was on crutches for 6 months and couldn't do any sports for over a year.

Also in my game Svien Tuft broke his are at the Tour of wellington at the end of Jan. He was back racng on the 12th of feb!!! what are these guys, superhuman?

is there anything that can be done to the db to make this kind of thing more realistic? surely a broken neck would put you out for most of the season, if not all of it?

does anyone else feel the same or is it just me?

I get the point, and it's easy to change in the DB. It's something that we could look into for the V3 Wink

i know, like i said, when i was younger i tore one of my knee ligaments playing football and was out for a year. i think that something needs to be done to increase the times of the injuries. with the current system a rider could break his neck in march and then win the tour de france the same year!
