Finally, to Stage 5. The stage that is expected to decide the GC with it's uphill finish. Having said that, the hilly Stage 3 did not provide any gaps, so the sprinters at the top of the GC will be hoping for the same again.

Four riders make it into the break today. They are:
Van der Haar, Insausti Paulus Mundle
Paulus wins the first intermediate sprint, followed by Van der Haar and Mundle.
Van der Haar wins the first KOM to extend her lead in the standings. Paulus and Insausti pick up points as well.
Paulus wins the second KOM though, with Van der Haar and Insuasti following him past the summit.
Paulus also wins the second intermediate sprint, ahead of Mundle and Van der Haar.
van der Haar turns it around again to win the third KOM. Paulus is next, and then Insausti.
With 60 km to go, Cervelo, Euskadi, Duvel and Hilcona are at the front of the peloton. They trail by 2'56".
Insuasti is dropped with 48 km to go.
He is caught five kilometers later.
41 km to go. A few of the higher placed riders have been dropped as part of a larger group - Hennis (GC 19th), Kelly (20th), Dzervus (25th).
Van der Haar drops the others with 38 km to go...
...and goes on to win the next KOM. Paulus and Barbero, from the pack, is the order after that. Mundle, obviously, has been caught.
The two remaining breakaway riders are dropped with 13 km to go.
34 riders are dropped with 5 km to go. Bystrom and Sirironnachai are the strongest riders in this group. They trail by 52 seconds.
The pack is spreading out with 1.5 km to go. 16 riders remain in the lead group.
The GC leader Carsi has been dropped quite some way now.
Five riders have pulled away a bit from the lead under the Red Kite - Moscon, Eiking, Boswell, Lyu and Guerrerio.
The same five riders remain at the front with 500 meters left.
The story is somewhat different just 200 meters later! Moscon, Lyu and Guerreiro have pushed away from the other two at the front.
Moscon is still in the lead with 100 meters to go.
Moscon wins the stage!
Guerreiro is 2nd, ahead of Lyu.
Eiking is 4th, followed by Boswell.
Carpenter finishes ahead of Raileanu and Mager for positions 6th to 8th.
Zordan is 9th, with Barta in 10th and Serrano in 11th.
Waeytens is 12th, followed by Carr.
Hermans and Smit complete the Top 15.
Today's winner - Gianni Moscon.
Moscon, Guerreiro and Lyu made the acceleration that mattered in the closing stages today to decide the stage podium.
