Stage 1 Report

Stage 1 of the Tour of Northern Europe is a pretty straightforward 200k sprint stage. A couple of sprint points along the way to relieve the boredom

The lead peaks at over 7 minutes but with 100k to go it is down to 4’25. Teams working are Tinkoff (Syritsa), Polar (Ferreira) and Zara (Blanca Pareja).

Blume Levy again holds off Skala at the 2nd sprint. Lead is 2’50 with 63k to go. Blume Levy is eligible for the young rider jersey.
