About halfway through the stage the break is in the first categorized climb. The gap is pending around 2â€™15 ever since the break was formed.

The climb caused some splits in the peloton. Even 30 km later a bigger group is still behind and trying to get back, but no top 25 rider is in this group. But as a result the gap of the break is down to 1â€™26.
