Too few teams in a race causing a crash?

Playing PCM2007 with EternalDB.

Season with Agritubel gone smoothly until 7th of June 2007.

Has completed my both races for a day (2nd stages of Skoda-Tour & Euskal Bizikleta).

Trying to move to next day, game crashes when in process of simulating the 1st stage of 2nd category Portuguese race GP Abimota.

Now I checked and found out that only 3 teams (Benfica, Liberty Seguros and Milaneza) have riders assigned to this race... Could that be the reason for game crashing and if it is - is there any method of editing game so that this problem is avoided?

Whether adding teams to the race of deleting the race from database and/or calendar?

I don't know if it's the reason for the crash, but you can try to assign more teams to the race. You can probably use this guide:
