as i'm starting a new story with one of the small british teams i just wanted to ask a question about the realism of race invitations. when i played as plowman craven on the 2008 db for pcm 07 i found i couldn't enter any more races then the ones i was automatically in because every race refused my entry. obviously i was too small and with only british riders there was no real reason for foriegn races to let me in.
if i was to sign a young french, american or spanish rider, not in my first season obviosly, would it increase the chances of me being accepted into the smaller races of that country?
cheers |

Just win the races you are in, and they'll let you in to other races

I'm pretty sure that it's easier to get accepted into races in PCM08 |

but is it realistic? thats all i'm really interested in. i don't want to just be accepted into any old race. i want a reason that i've had to earn to get in, if you know what i mean.
i guess though that if i do have a succesful year then i might get a few more invitations.
i'm not explaining this very well |

I played with team MTN breifly with the V1 DB and I found I could enter most races I tried for (all except Langkawi in Jan and Feb) so if you want want high realism the best would probably be to self regulate what races you enter

well my first season i will prob just race the British races and whichever oversea's one's the game gives me. maybe try to enter some of the smaller american or scandinavian races (which is quite realistic i think)
depending on how succesful i am and the riders i sign i might try to enter a few more in my second season, if i ever get that far. |

As with other parts of the game, yes, it's always best to self-regulate |
