Arif Prayogo Kloppenborg Laurance +"30 GC Marte Price-Pejtersen Varotsos
Is today's break nowhere near as dangerous as yesterday with only Laurance not being dropped on yesterday's sprint stage.
The group spilt the KOMs throughout the day with no one being a dominant force over the climbs Marte would move to 3rd overall in KOM competition.

The group would just make it to the first sprint point before being caught Laurance took an easy win but the group only had 1"30 by this point and was already doomed.
This is due to a strong pace in behind with Stüssi and Stancu smashing the early hills Andersen didn't keep a man on the front but as you can see he kept himself very diligent with just 25km to go.
The pace has caused real problem behind as we lose Chiarello the CT king from last year unable to keep up with the pace. Chavanne 3rd on GC has gone as well but probably expected by his team as he was working on the front early in the stage.
In the valley, we arrive at the last Intermediate sprint. Ganjkhanlou beats Andersen and Alaphilippe with our GC leader sneaking another 4 seconds lead he looks good to keep it providing he can get over the last steep hill.
Ardila has other plans though he launches a vicious dig at 1km to go Calmejane follows and in his wheel is Cerny.
But over the top Bol won't let the group go he's done all the work himself to keep them in sight over the top and this has led to huge gaps in the group
On the climb with only 8km to go we lose Christapopoulos 2nd on GC Christodoulos 6th on GC Tanfield Jiang Van Aert Affini Sajnok
All wouldn't make it back to the peleton as the climbs really take their toll on the TT specialists
Ahead the true effort by Bol can be seen as there's only 25 riders in his wheel though all GC favourites have made it we have lost all other pure sprinters from the front group Ardila tightens his straps knowing the sprint is coming now but his best chance has gone. Andersen is somehow still in the group in 20th chapeau that man as much better hills riders have been dropped
Oomen sends a man to the front 4km to go as groups start to come back on but they will be out of position coming into the sprint.
Quita goes for a surprise dig with 2km to go into a sharp corner Alaphilippe, Bol and Calmejane are aware to the danger Cerny is slightly gapped.
These 5 have kicked way clear Calmejane gets blocked as Cerny follows allaphillipes wheel through Bol swings for the inside.
Quita surprise attack fails there's 3 in line in front Alaphilippe has a slight lead.
Bol finally cracks from his work today Calmejane is starting to fly from behind as Alaphilippe is holding off Cerny.
Calmejane does it he played his cards latest and gets the win he's up to 2nd on GC now Alaphilippe is second and Cerny 3rd who started the sprint in the worst position. Bol an unexpected 4th surviving the climbs well and an unsighted Wouters who wasn't even in the group with 5km to go an incredible 5th as he picked up a lot of speed down the outside late.

all roll in 10th - 12th with their tour really starting tomorrow.
