Mas is dropped by the attackers with 2 km to go. He's caught in no time by the chasers, who are being led by Lopez.
Gidich is tiring. Herklotz, Higuita and Valter are catching up. Lopez is losing ground! 700 meters to go.
400 meters. Gidich looks to have found a second wind. Lopez as well. Higuita is fading but Amezawa is making up ground.
Areruya leads from Herklotz as they reach the final 200 meters.
