Stage 3 sees the next chance for the sprinters before they get two days off.

It’s another break of three today and the white jersey is in it once again, this time on the shoulders of pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2024/Micros/trg.png Pedersen. With him are pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2024/Micros/ced.png Sheehan and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2024/Micros/fas.png Tjotta.

Their gap is at nearly 5 minutes.

It’s the same order at the first intermediate sprint, meaning pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2024/Micros/fas.png Tjotta takes the virtual U25 lead. Their gap maxed at around 7 minutes but is down to 4’30 again.

And it’s the same order at the second intermediate sprint. The break has 32 km to go, but their gap is down to 1’16.

The catch is made with 13 km to go. There have been some short lived splits, but no GC contenders or sprinter are concerned.
