[PTM] Giro d‘Italia -- Stage 7


The first week ends with the first of three flat stages in a row. Anything else than a bunch sprint would be a surprise.

There’s been some interest in today’s break despite the pan flat profile. The first intermediate sprint isn’t contested. The gap maxed at around 5’45, but is already down to 3’31 with more than 100 km to go.

It took another 20 km to finally catch the break. With 11 km to go the sprint preparation is on.
