You don't extrat the files, just put the DB you want to edit in the Database folder and double click cdb to xml thing. |

You can edit saved games, yes.
And in Folder Out, you write whatever you want to. It doesn't matter. |

Again, you decide. You can extract it to the desktop if you want to. |

No, simply because it's rather self-explaining. All it does is extracting and packing the .cdb file
Put your dabases in the Database folder of the program. Open it and choose it in "Import". In Folder Out, type a name and click import. The DB will be imported. In the installation folder, you can find another folder called "Exports". In here, you will find your DB in .xml files which are editable with Excel |

For any reason this doesnt work anymore...
I cant import any databases - even a new installation of full editor doesnt helped. Tried it with several db's... nothing, import stops after creating a new folder and import of the 1st two DYN_CHROMO_TIME TRIAL BLAH.xml-files...
It worked for months but not anymore...
Are they any known incompatibilities for the FULL EDITOR? |

Save games (to be more concrete).
Seems you know the answer then... |

Yep, I have problems with exporting save games too. So did other people. I remember Fenian saying that he starts the process and then simply leaves the computer for a while. It will crash if you do something while it tries to export.
So, my suggestion is to use Hannes Converter for save games |

Yes, with savegames there is about 4 times more data.
The program crashes on my computer - 4GB of memory - if I try to load up Firefox or something when it's importing. |

I only have 1 GB of ram and is still yet to succeed in loading a save game with the Advanced Editor. Luckily, Hannes Converter does the job and is pretty much just as useful as AE if you use the 'Export to Access' function |

I should say that each time you play the savegame gets bigger. So, sometimes the save will be more than 4 times the size. Last game I had was about 5 times as big after 6 months. So, if you've been playing for a couple of seasons now, it might be too big.
I don't think the full editor was designed as a tool to edit save games.

Alright, makes sense for me. Good to know that it's not my fault...
Hannes Converter took over. |

Uhm, you do know that you need to extract the content of the .rar file with WinRAR or similar, right? |
