Since there's suddenly a lot of stage creators at this site, each with one stage request thread, I thought that I'd try my luck and see if anyone's interested in making the Vuelta al Tachira 2009.
It's the first important race of the year (it's 2.1), starting in two days from now. All details are available from the race's website:

I'm thinking that maybe two or more stage creators can collaborate on this project since there's 12 stages. Roman Kreuziger, one of the stage creators here, has said that he may be able to do 3-4 stages.
The stages will be used in PCM.daily's 2009 DB. I'm hoping that this can be done before the release of V2, so the race can be included in the next release (due for end January / start February).

They must have changed the race category recently. I'm rather sure I checked it before writing it. |

It's been cat. 2 ever since the categories were re-juggled in 2005 with the start of the ProTour, and it wasn't in the UCI's list of races that got category changes this year.
So you must've checked a bad source. |

I checked UCI's list, but then again, there's always a lot of mistakes there which they correct along the way |

so it must be a 2.1. |
