PCM Daily 09 DB - PCM won't start

After downloading the new DB and opening it in the PCM folder I can't play PCM anymore. Everytime I try it says that there is a error and it must be closed.

Any help would be great.?

The problem is a temp accompat.txt file...

To me, it sounds like you didn't completely uninstall the game before applying the package.

Q. How do I uninstall the game completely?

A. First, go to Start -> Programs -> Cyanide -> Pro Cycling Manager 2008 and find the uninstall-link. Next, go to "My Computer", your hard drive, "Program Files" -> Cyanide and delete the Pro Cycling Manager-folder. Then go to My Documents and delete the Pro Cycling Manager folder. Last thing is Start -> Run and type in %AppData% . A folder will open. Find the Pro Cycling Manager folder and delete it. The game is now completely uninstalled.
