Welcome to the annual "best and funniest transfers thread", with me, your host, jandal seven, and not really any jokes this year because I'm being serious. The only transfers thread I've ever seen where a rival manager has literally begged me to sell their rider for them - but it was Guerao, so morally I had to decline.
I'm super available here or on Skype (thejandaldaily), intermittently on Discord too.

George Bennett - 80MO, 75HI, 4th in 2023 Giro d'Italia, 1st in 2022 Tour of America Mr Xero. An incredible rider, and one who would still do very well if he stays with the team, however with a TT-heavy stage racing calendar in the Pro Tour he may be better suited to kiss the team goodbye on their way up, and remain in the PCT or even - here's a scary thought - absolutely destroy the CT and earn another promotion, this time basically single-handedly. 4th in the Giro d'Italia, Tour of America winner, wins basically every hilltop finish he races on - this is a premium rider, still would be one of the best climbers in the PCT especially in MO/HI races, and given his age will be going at a far better value than younger leaders who could do the same role. This will be a rider who can take your team to where you want to be, and with a good renewal will remain a great rider for another season with solid backups still. Current leading bid is a swap deal valued at €1m
Salim Kipkemboi - 75MO, 77HI - A fantastic CT leader or an attacker and stage hunter elsewhere, and the most loyal and effective lieutenant of Joseph Areruya as he ripped up the PCT. Can do it all on climbs long and short. Only 26 years old so an awesome rider for the next eight years of your team - all the way through to 2031, which isn't even a real year in my book. Interest is sniffing around the €500k mark, which would currently get a deal done with commitment.
Ilan Van Wilder - 24yo, 4.50, maxing at 77MO 73HI 75TT - A bright young stage racing talent on only 50k wage, makes all the sense in the world for any team in any division with that statline, already a top domestique and solid U25 scorer. Currently looking at a swap deal worth about €500k, so an overbid would start at around 550 which is an absolute steal - but since I only need what I need I'm selling him ridiculously cheap. This will be a low-wage high-scoring rider for a decade, with two years left of U25 eligibility.
"oh the offers still stand the same as before this is a real update" is what cowards say. I'm just bumping the thread and I'm not ashamed of it. Slide into my DMs

Van Wilder is being pulled apart like one of those execution machines, he has 600k cash offer, worth 500k in a swap deal, and has another offer in the ether as well. Seems like he's going somewhere, but really you should be wanting it to be to you.
Kipkemboi is mentioned often but not committed to yet - could be yours for 500k if you swoop in while his suitors dither and dather about!
Bennett still with the 1m valued leading deal, happy for overbids

Bennett deal is posted and because of some mystery manager's actions in the last transfer season I'm not actually allowed to back out of it, so he's off the table.
Kipkemboi has received further interest, as has Van Wilder who is being suggested as part of a very promising swap as well as the 600k deal. So I would suggest that your better chances are with Kipkemboi in the 400-500k region
Van Wilder looks pretty set for a deal worth 600k.
Kipkemboi still very much up for grabs. Come get your CT-Areruya, or a great attacker and lieutenant for the other divisions. Just 105k wage and still 26yo, he's a rider you can have in your squad for eight seasons and have NCs, good results and good times for all of them on an affordable wage
Van Wilder deal is posted for 615k. Obviously overbids will be accepted.
Kipkemboi is still available! More "yeah I might be able to..." "just getting some cash..." "could be interesting in a swap", but no commitment, so swoop in and take him

Status quo remains. Kipkemboi had a tentative 500k offer but that's not a minimum and not committed to, so you can swoop in and take an incredible value puncheur-climber who is still just 26 years old!
Van Wilder has switched deals but again, because of that manager's actions in the last transfer season we can't back out of the deal, so he's gone!
Kipkemboi still loosely available but we don't absolutely need the cash currently so it will just be for a good offer, or even a swap we like! So come at us with interesting riders to swap - could be someone on his wage level, or a couple of 50-60k guys!

Happy to entertain swaps or cash for Kipkemboi. He has had a very intriguing swap mentioned but still the offer is yet to be made so open goal here

Now leaning towards a swap. Cash could be good but any interesting riders might be preferred. The above mentioned swap has fallen through.
Happy to take on cheaper riders or more expensive ones if you're looking to solve cap issues!

Also could be a home for a rider needing a PT loan, ideally a 25/25k split with no fee
