I started a new DB 2024.
At the moment I'm working on the main file but I'm not an expert. In short, I'm attaching it for those who are interested and have suggestions.
I have a doubt about some columns like GENE_I_LEVEL and GENE_B_CHARAC_EXPLODE (runner explosion)...

Hello, I encounter an issue to update the Jerseys.
I replace the jersey by the new one but in the game, it's not the right Jersey. someone know why ?

Have you tried emptying the cache?
By the way, the link in the first post doesn't work for me.

Are you seeing an empty texture or an old jersey texture? If it's the first option, I once had the same problem and both the resolution must match the standard in this version of PCM and the TGA file must be saved as 32-bit. |

@murao22, it's an old texture...I will check if the TGA file si saved with 32bits

There's a folder called "Cache" in the main install folder. Deleting everything in that folder usually solved the issues, if everything else was done correctly. |

Works for me. I've never done databases for PCM 2006, but I've learned the minimum to alter them to my liking (stuff like editing stats, sometimes changing the jerseys, etc), so can't go more in depth with troubleshooting if you need it. Here's what I did.
1. Downloaded the a2r.maillot.tga to test it out.
2. Backed-up the previous a2r.maillot.tga from the CM_textures/cycliste/maillots
3. Removed the old one and put yours in.
4. Entered the game, started a stage -> the old AG2R maillot was still there.
5. Exited the game, went in the main Install Folder and emptied everything in the cache folder. The cache folder is between "Blocs_Germany" and "Classifications" in my main install folder.
6. Entered the game again, started another stage -> the new 2024 maillot worked. |

Hello!
GENE_I_LEVEL is a level of cyclist which allows him to gain experience:
level 1 = at 2.1, 1.1 races
level 2 = at 2.HC, 1.HC races
level 3 = at Pro Tours races
level 4 = at Grand Tours (TdF, Giro, Vuelta)
So if you set level to 1 it means that the cyclist has to participate in 2.1 & 1.1 races to gain experience (suitable for young/new cyclists). Certainly for Basso, Cunego and other stars you should set GENE_I_LEVEL to 4 and 100 in GENE_F_LEVEL_POINTS (maximum experience).
GENE_B_CHARAC_EXPLODE means if characteristics explosion happens (characteristics are significantly improved) when a rider reaches a new level. So set it to 1 for talented riders.

I honestly don't know. I always assumed it's always there. Are you looking in the same main folder where you have the CM_Textures and Gui and CM_Stages and all that? |

I'm totally disappointed, I rollback to the original jersey and i have the same issue. It's very strange and it works for you .

Sylvao's Strategy pack (you can find right here in this subforum - [MOD] Strategy Pack) has a Cache delete .bat file that will automatically delete the cache. Can you try that? Also, not sure if this matters, but I don't reload the same stage when trying things out, but start a new stage, even if it's the same stage. |

Hello, Again me . Do you know in the DB what does it mean the followings colums in Cyclist :
- fkIDteam_ladder
- fkIDxchange_cyclist
- fkIDequipment_selection_normal and selection_clm
- charac_b_top_leader
- feat_f_professionalism
- value_f_potentiel_total
- professional, social, media
Do i need to change that, is it important ?
Finally, i have 2 others columns : CONSTANT and Souname : I think that it's not necessary to keep. How i can delete the entries ?
