I really like that you incorporated Chiarello's big season directly into your new sponsor choices. Lots of Brazilian flags in that history post  I'm curious how renewals will go for him; he can still be a very valuable PCT rider but following that season, I would expect his salary demands to still be quite high despite his decline.
It will be odd to have the yellow Crab Pack missing from the peloton, but the new jersey has the potential to become iconic. Simple but instantly recognizable. Looking forward to racing more against you again this season, and I really hope you can get a foothold in PCT this time!

Gonna miss the Crabbe pack but super excited to see if you're able to stabilise yourself in PCT this time around. Chiarello is going to be a good starting point but you will still need a bunch of new riders, should be a busy offseason!

Lotto-Caloi Bids Farewell to 12 Riders
Sint-Truiden, 7 August 2024 - Lotto-Caloi Cycling Team announces the departure of twelve of its riders as we approach the 2024 season. We extend our heartfelt thanks to these riders for their contributions and dedication to the team.
The departing riders are:
William Chiarello (Brazil)
Pedro Figueiredo Leme (Brazil)
Milan Paulus (Belgium)
Tom Devriendt (Belgium)
Simon Dehairs (Belgium)
Jarrad Drizners (Australia)
Albert Kireva (Zimbabwe)
Emils Liepins (Latvia)
Andris Smirnovs (Latvia)
Maani Altanzul (Mongolia)
Felix English (Ireland)
Jakob Rathe (USA)
Four of these riders received several offers to remain with Lotto-Caloi, but unfortunately, we were unable to reach an agreement during negotiations:
* William Chiarello aims to capitalize on his extraordinary season on the open market.
* Emils Liepins and Jarrad Drizners, who have been with us since the beginning, found our valuation considerably lower than their expectations. They, too, will soon be exploring opportunities in the free market.
* Maani Altanzul is another rider testing new waters.
As we part ways with these remarkable athletes, we are pleased to confirm that nine riders remain under contract for 2024. Leading our roster for the upcoming season are:
* Joshua Edmondson for the hill classics
* Sameera Chatarunga for the cobbles races
* Axel Zingle for the sprints
They will be joined by promising young talents:

Ah yes, switching the focus nation only to immediately release all riders from that new focus region And two thirds of your Belgians, too! Individually though, they are all understandable, and you have an incredible amount of cap space to work with. It will be a challenge, but there are some fun things you can do!

I think it's all good calls you've made. The team is not really weaker for shedding a ton of domestiques. Well set for a new approach and team re-set which you could well turn into long term success.

I echo that sentiment - even at the start of his decline, he could've been pretty useful in PCT at races with not much stacked GC landscape. I'm sure you have your reasons to cut him, but you've left a really good rider right there for the taking.
Good luck in the transfer season and hopefully remain in PCT

I like dat. Reshaping the roster for PCT might be the most fun thing you can ever do in MG (other than, you know, winning all the time). Not sure why Rubenis fits on that roster, but we, the Baltic Delegation, appreciate leveling him up for us.
