After some hillier and flatter days, it’s now time for the mountainous NCs to be completed.
Pre-race favourite Aular is the one start us off as he makes a move with 10km to go that brings pretty much everyone in tow.
Monsalve tried desperately to get rid of Aular with multiple attacks going up the mountain but Aular has stuck it out and now they’re going head to head for the win.
And it’s going to be the LPH rider that takes an expected NC win, but he had to fight for it. Herrera, Chumil and Ruiz claim their respective NCs.
