The big question today on the hilly course is, whether Chiarello will secure yet another win.
As the break is caught with 11km to go Reguigui launches an attack that is followed by every big rider.
Barbari and Mansouri enters the final km with a 20 second gap to the 8-man group behind them.
But they get caught and Tesfaye Heyi ttakes a massive win after a huge sprint. Chiarello wins the Brazilian jersey, Ssabagwanya will carry the Ugandan flag on jersey next year. Bravo will get to chill in the Chilean jersey next year. Mansouri is Algerian champion.

It’s an easy win for Hamza who puts more than a minute into his competition. Affonso claims the Brazilian NC by 8 seconds, denying Chiarello the double. Tesfaye Heyi however secures his double, Burmann will carry the Chilean TT NC next year. Ssabagwanya will also be a double NC despite finishing eight and a half minute down on Hamza’s time.
A sprint car race on attractive mountainous terrain. Congratulations to Tesfaye Heyi for a big win after a big sprint in this race. An amazing achievement. doodle baseballEdited by tricerhino on 18-07-2024 04:11
