Can someone explain how to remove races? I tried it but it crashes from the first time i try to continue the game in career mode; What I did?
1->I removed the race in STA_race.xml
2->I removed the stages from the race i removed in STA_stage.xml
I did this in the local.cdb and in the officialrelease.cdb; What did I do wrong? |

Try to edit the races out of your savegame file too - might work. |

Actually, for me it's logic that your savegame won't work after you have deleted a race in the DB.

There's sponsor goals connected to the races too. Find them in STA_objectif_sponsor and delete them in STA_objectif_sponsor_info and STA_objectif_sponsor_info_futur too. |

Thanks CrueTrue! Butt are you sure that's enough? I have done it and it still crashes ... I'm quite sure i haven't make any mistake, I think there are more tables "connected" with the races? Isn't it?

Are you sure that you really did delete all race objectives from STA_objectif_sponsor_info and STA_objectif_sponsor_info_futur? If there's just one left, it will crash. |

Yes, i'm sure, but let me explain to you what i did to see if i did nothing wrong
in STA_objectif_sponsor_info and STA_objectif_sponsor_info_futur:
gene_ilist_fkIDobjectif
(48,195,101,121,151,268,286,236,260,252,249)
...
...
in this column i've deleted the ID's associated with the races i want to delete, a result for example :
gene_ilist_fkIDobjectif
(48,195,260,252,249)
()
...
isn't it a problem that there are less than 11 id's between the () or even just 0? i have to say a removed a lot races, because i want the game to go fast on a bad pc
May I return your question asking if you are 100% sure that no other tabels have to be changed than those you mentioned? |
