Welcome to the Polish nationals! We’re on the hilly course today which means that the main riders to keep an eye out for are going to be Malecki, Kasperkiewicz and Warchol.
Banaszek knows that he has no shot at surviving to the line with favourites and goes for an early attack with 12km to the finish line. He is followed by more or less every signed rider.
Once we reach the flats before the finish it’s Banaszek that goes for the attack yet again, the 10 man group still has to catch the final breakee.
With 3.5 to go Sajnok goes all out and gets a gap to the group with Banaszek in between.
As they start the final climb Banaszek and Sajnok has a 20 second gap as they open the sprint uphill.
They get caught with 200m to go but and in the end it’s a close three way sprint that ends with Malecki in the Polish NC next season!

Individual Time Trial
After a close RR we now look towards what could be the closest ITT of the entire NC season. Rekita, Sajnok and Marchewka all have hopes of claiming the title.
Marchewka is the first to cross the line but as he goes over the finish line he has already lost his lead at the checkpoints.
Sajnok was slower than Marchewka at the first checkpoint but gained a lot of speed towards the end.
But it doesn’t matter as Rekita lays claim to the Polish TT NC going 15 seconds faster than Sajnok.
