I'm currently playing pro cyclist and considering a team change, but the team I'm most interested in has awful jerseys IMO, so I want to change them.
I know how to find and download them at https://pcmmod.co... , but how do I add them to the game, let alone a save game already in progress?
PS: while I'm at it, I'd like to add a custom world champion jersey to both my current and new team as well. I like the rainbow design, but the white is a bit boring IMO, tradition be damned.
Adding/changing jerseys is very simple and works for save games, too. The only thing you need is the three letter abbreviation of the sponsor. Go to the main PCM folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2024) then the folders 3D\Cyclists\Cloth\team. Go to the folder for the sponsor and simply replace the "_maillot" file with the new jersey. Often, you can guess the abbreviation from sponsor name, otherwise you can look in the cdb file with an editor (or if you're using the PCM.daily DB, I can tell you).
The game will immediately use this new jersey whenever it next accesses the file, i.e. whenever you start the next race. Note that this is only the in race jersey. If you also want to change the minijersey, that's in Gui\MiniJersey\Team, with the naming convention "_minimaillot".
Any "special" jersey has its own additional suffix. The world champion jersey is "xyz_maillot_world" or "_world_itt", with xyz replaced by the sponsor abbreviation. The same works for national championship jerseys like "xyz_maillot_bel" for the Belgian champ (no _itt needed here).
