Imma be frank with you, I have no clue what to expect, we’re on cobbles after a 50/50 flip last time we were on cobbles Zmorka won his NC, will he claim the feat again?
After the first cobbles sector we have a selection of 7 riders as Bratashcuk, Lutsyshyn, Padun, Gladysh make up the first group with Zmorka, Dzhus and Karnulin in tow 20 seconds down on them.
Contact is made before the second pavé breaks it all up again as the front four now consists of: Gladysh, Bilyi, Kachur and Zmorka.
One the final pavé Karnulin briefly gets contact but is instantly dropped by the front quartet that holds a big gap over the rest of the field, can Popo win by having more strength in numbers?
Going out of the final pavé Gladysh drops his opponents and goes alone, he has a 33 second gap with 5kms to the finish line.
It’s a 1-2 for the Ukrainian team as Gladysh crosses the line first with youngster Kachur pitting Zmorka to the silver medal.
