We’re back on the flats for Sweden as it is expected that Ahlstrand should take the sprint victory but Bertilsson has quality support to help him out to make a claim for NC.
With 15kms to go the break is brought back and the teams can start setting up their leaders for the sprint.
With 10kms to go a move made by an amateur rider is followed by Kvist, Magnusson and Eriksson but nothing comes of it.
As we get closer to the finish line they go for the counter attack with 2kms to go and this time they get a small gap that has forced Ahlstrand to the front to bring back Kvist and Eriksson.
This gets turned into a very long sprint for the Minions-rider as we go under the red kite he catches the trio.
And he is uncatchable as he reaces top speed and blasts past everyone with Bertilsson second and Eriksson third.

Individual Time Trial
With Tobias Ludvigsson not on the startlist for the ITT it seems like it’s a given that Anderberg will snatch it as there are no true specialists in Sweden for the discipline.
And that is indeed the case. Anderberg almost catches his nearest suitor for the title as his margin was 53 seconds, his winning time being 59’45”.
