Welcome to the Greek national championships. On paper Vila is the favourite but there are a bunch of contenders.
With 12km to go it’s Karatsivis who opens the ball with Zegklis, Christapopoulos, Mengoulas and Kaloniatis in tow.
The move is shut down by the ELCO boys that are actively working for Vila it seems.
As we enter the last 2kms an attack comes through from Evangelos who gets a small gap.
Under the red kite the youngster still has a small gap as the pack is starting to set up their sprint.
In a sea of ELCO shirts it’s currently Farantakis in the lead with Koumpetsos and Soulious behind him.
In the end Koumpetsos takes a slightly surprising victory. Soulis gets second and Farantakis fades out to a third.

Individual Time Trial
Old man Vlatos is on paper still the best pure TT rider in Greece but the talents of Ioannidis and Kiriakidis are going to give him a run for his money.
Kiriakidis is the first of the three and crosses the line in 1h01’34”, not even remotely close to the winning time in other NCs.
Ioannidis goes 11 seconds faster than his teammate.
Vlatos goes 33” seconds faster to reclaim his TT title, the old man still got it!
