It’s a fight in the mountains for the Swiss national championships. 24 of the 27 professional participants ride for either UBS or JURA so it seems likely that one of them will get the win. JURA’s champion is Stüssi, UBS counters with Schelling. Those two top the favorites list.

No, it isn’t an Aker training camp, it is 9 amateurs, all of whom happen to be wearing Aker jerseys in honor of their recent PT title. This group has 1’17 on the peloton with 42k to go.
The Aker tribute ride comes to an end about two-thirds of the way up the first climb and at the top we are down to 19 riders, 17 from the big two plus an actual Aker rider (Suter) and Voisard.
7k to go on the final climb, after swelling in size on the downhill it is back to pretty much the same group as at the top of the last climb. 1 less UBS rider. Müller and Kung on the front. Schelling in 4th wheel. Stüssi 6th wheel.
4.5k to go Schelling attacks. Stüssi looks to follow.
3k to go. While others tried to follow only Stüssi can stay with Schelling. Schir next man on the road but he doesn’t seem able to bridge up.
Schelling had another dig but couldn’t drop Stüssi. Schir at 24 seconds. Schmid, Darbellay, and Badilatti at 1’16, looks like it will be between the big two.
Neither rider can gain any ground over his rival and in the end Schelling wins it, the inside line on the final corner perhaps being decisive. JURA might have had the better season but UBS keeps the Swiss National Championship road race title. Schir third.

Time Trial
In the TT Dillier is the favorite to both defend his title and give UBS the title double again.
Stüssi has the best early time but Kung betters that by 49 seconds.
Bissegger, JURA’s top gun can’t beat that, he is 4 seconds slower.
Dillier is the last man on the course. This is probably his last year with a shot at this title, given he is 33. And he proves the old dog still has life, winning the title by 12 seconds.
