That's a really cool layout for a preview, with best sprint performance and race predictions, very interresting to read through!
Thank you so much Laurens!
(To be honest, I mistook this to be a hilly race, that's why we've sent loads of puncheurs here. I hope they will pull as hard as possible through the mid race-climbs to avoid a mass sprint ) |

Thank you for the very detailed preview, Laurens!
Manninen needs to redeem himself after a streak of meh results, so we expect a top-3 from him tomorrow. Wouldn't mind a Ruiz and Konychev attack as the two best flat riders, but I assume they'll be working for Manninen and Dainese. Good luck to everyone!

No.1 on the favourite list, a win obviously is the goal.
Podium the minimum.
Team should be alright, not the best train, but it has worked before.
Nice preview with all the season stats there. |

Vesely has been doing well recently and also better in harder sprint stages than the absolutely flat ones. Hoping he can continue that. Will gladly take that Top 5 which the prediction offers, but a Top 10 is a more reasonable target I guess.
Thanks for the preview Laurens

Awesome preview, thanks mate!
A few big guns here, so hopefully we shouldn’t attempt to create anything that remotely resembles a train. Hopefully the trains burn out early on the finishing incline and AH can position himself well enough on another wheel to go around the guys that will inevitably go too early.

Thanks for the preview! Given all the pure sprinters here we can only hope for two things to get Russo a Top 10 result: either he massively overperformes against the stronger sprinters (like Alaphilippe did quite some times last season) or the race is hard enough to get rid of some to most of the pure sprinters. But regarding the history of this season and this race so far it's more likely Russo's predicted 22nd place is even aimed to high.

Well, another pretty disappointing result by Bol. I was really hoping we could use the hills in our favour, with Bol as our sprinter and Theuns as a potential late attacker. The strategy was good, as shown by Houle, but the execution was bad. I was hoping the least flat of the flat classics - which we only did because we had two RDs to spare - would be as selective as last year, when we missed out on the cut, but well. Onto the next one, and we'll send Bol to a traning camp now for a while. He's become pretty useless, unfortunately.
Congrats to Lampre, looks like Dzama has just the luck Daniel didn't have earlier this year. And nice to see Houle do well for Xero, they sure need this kind of surprise results to keep the promotion challenge going!

Badabing bada boom Dzama steps into the room!
Thanks for a great report Ivan!
While the win is great and all it is our only points scoring finish in this race but beggars cant be choosers! I will happily take those 80 points and add those to our promotion push!

Sent the puncheurs to this one figuring my sprinters didn't have a hope, which I think was right. Nice to see Seigle in the break and he and Bagioli picked up a few points for us.
Thanks for the report Ivan.

Great win WJ!
Again we're happy with the performance of Liepins. It seems he's better in C1 than C2 sprints.

3rd in the sprint is good, a shame those two other guys stayed ahead of the peloton. Two nice managers/teams though, so I'll allow it Had hoped for Ruiz to finally score some depth points as well, but alas.
Thank you for the nice report to Ivan and the entire IESN crew, and congratulations to wj!
