22 PT teams. 24 PCT teams. 6 PTHC Bands, 3 Bands of 14rd each which is 42rd in PTHC for all teams.
It's quite unlikely that all teams will get their Top 3 bands, although we try to make it as fair as possible and in the past only a few teams missed out on the top3 and had to settle with a top4 only, while top2 was kind of working every time.
So as last season, there'll be a starting time for sending your choices in.
The start to PM your PTHC band priority lists is Wednesday, 19/07, 18:00 British time. (6 p.m. UK time) NOT Forum Time, which is a bit different. Choices to be PMed to me!
Please PM your choices as seen below with the order as you like. Exact format please without any priority numbers etc.
Band 2 | Band 3 | Band 1 | Band 4 | Band 6 | Band 5 |
If a choice is over subscribed, then a pretty neutral mix of factors is coming into play with things like PM time, band priorities and others being valued.
As you might have considered goals already, make sure to put the PTHC goal into the top1 priority ideally or top2 to make sure you will be able to participate. No goal change allowed afterwards and there also is the possibility of the OR goal. |

While relegations are clear already, some promotions are yet to be announced, in especially the CT to PCT promotions will need to know if they even have to pick PTHC bands.
This will happen before the deadline!
The 4-5 teams being not yet confirmed as CT to PCT promotion teams behind the top5 probably should check for some PTHC races at least to not be surprised too much. But I will try to make the confirmation early enough for you all. |

A reminder, that tomorrow evening, European Time, there is the start of the PTHC band choices for PT and PCT teams! |

Lots of you have send in the PTHC band choices.
Those that are missing, ideally you do that as soon as possible. |

Good news first. All teams got their 1-2 priorities, which always helps in case of goals, making sure you will be able to race your most wanted races.
Mediocre news: Most teams also got their top3 priorities, which now makes the bad news, that 5 teams missed out on that one and have to settle with the 4th priority instead.
For a long time it looked pretty solid that all teams might be able to get the top3 and weirdly the one band, I was very concerned of at one point, suddenly got no more interest by a lot of teams towards the end. So the oversubscribed bands moved to others.
In the end the bad bands, in especially for your prio 3 choice were bands 1&4, which are the only bands, that got more interest than spots. No surprise those two bands were also those with the highest interest in the prio3 choices.
In numbers we will have 4 bands being filled to a total of 24 teams! Band 2 is almost complete with 23 teams while band 3 had the least interest with only 19 teams.
Statistically Band 1 was the band with the biggest interest in the top priority followed by Band 5 and then balanced throughout the rest.
Prio 2 then was easily highest for Band 4, again followed by Band 5 & 6, while prio 3 was basically balanced.
The least wanted Band in the prio 5 and 6 had been Band 1 and 5 luckily as those were filled anyway. So Band 5 was basically the one with the biggest hit or miss curve between high and low priority.

Band 3 was never an option for us - being the lowest one in our priority list, but given the amount of teams it might have made sense anyhow! There's a lot of "free" points on offer when there's only 4/5 teams compared to the other bands.
I got my top 3 pick however, so I'm very happy, despite some very fierce competition! I can see that we are paired with Aker, Bralirwa, Grieg and Tinkoff so we will see eachother a lot this season. Will be interesting to see how their teams shape up. I suspect we are the weakest link of the badge prior to the transfers.

Good news is I got my Top 3. Bad news is my team is absolutely not ready yet to face that competition
Time to get some upgrades then...

Got my top 3 but that doesn't mean they're the right ones for us!
I stuck to the role play mode picking races within my regions ...looking at the names of the competitors is quite intimidating given their histories but here goes nothing !

Got our 3 which I’m happy with as it suits the plans I have for the team. Thanks roturn for sorting this

If my quick check was correct, I'm only meeting Carlsberg everywhere. We go into transfer season with a lot of doubts, but if everything goes perfect these three bands should be a good fit for us.
If.

I don't have a team for any particular band, will only know after transfers if I picked right bands.

Happy to get our prioritized choices, and quite important as the other bands didn’t suit us that well. Good start to planning

Obviously we have a lot of unknowns but we got our top 3 prios and band 3 looks fantastic as scoring options for us now!

Great that we got our top 3. That way none of our leaders will feel left out they don't have a PTHC race suiting them

Feels weird to have our calendar decided already. Glad to have received the top choices.

Sent my choices in late (busy at work) and was relieved to get my top 3 choices including unpopular Band 3.

Seems like I am one of the unlucky ones to not get the top 3 choices. Missing out on band 1 is unfortunate, especially with Tour of Ukraine having been one of the best scores in PTHC races for me last season. Looking at the choices I sent in I'm not sure what I was thinking anyways. |
