Hello and welcome everyone to the very first event of this year's MG World Championships. Riders from 24 countries will take to the startline to try to win the race and take their team to the Elite Road Race and maybe even become the World Champion. Three riders form the break very early on in the race - Sirironnachai, Finkler and Boivin.
Boivin drops the others just a few kilometers later.
The others were caught soon after.
Boivin is also caught with 220 km to go.
Five riders get away to form the new break - Peak, Mano, Prado, Ho and Phodingham.
Riders have started getting dropped from the pack already with Dunbar and Areruya the big names gone already.
Peak is caught 10 kilometers later.
Another 10 km later, it's only Mano left at the front.
The peloton is down to 61 riders.
Mano's lead is up to 4 minutes with 150 km to go. Here he is, saying "Hi", and then "Bye", to some sheep.
Chiu, Kaislavuo and Losch attack with 120 km to go.
Gani and Kiskonen are next to go 10 kilometers later.
The previous five are joined by Novardianto and Raim. They then catch up to Mano. Their lead is 1'25".
The pack has split with 95 km to go with Teggart, Ulloa and Moricz the stronger cobbles riders that are dropped.
Hsu joins the break with 90 km to go.
Seven of the break are caught four kilometers later, with Chiu, Novardianto and Hsu staying away.
Neilands catches the break soon after that.
The break is caught with 80 km to go.
Anderberg is dropped as the peloton reduces to just 30 riders.
Kumara is dropped 6 km later.
Hsu attacks again with 60 km to go. The peloton is down to 20.
Anderberg and Kumara make it back to the pack.
Saya Kurieda attacks and catches up to Hsu.
Neilands, Chiu and Marzuki are chasing the leaders ahead of the pack.
Neilands catches the leaders with 40 km to go.
Chiu and Marzuki are caught by the pack six kilometers later.
The leaders have an advantage of 2'25" over the peloton with 35 kilometers to go.
The deficit for the peloton actually goes up by a few seconds as they enter the final 10 kilometers!
Hsu is dropped with 8 kilometers to go.
Neilands rides away now! 5 km left.
16 seconds lead for Neilands as he reached the Red Kite.
500 meters and the Latvian's lead has reduced by a couple of seconds.
Neilands has enough of a gap to have time to celebrate!
He wins the race ahead of Saya Kuroeda.
Hsu put on quite a show today. It didn't turn into a win but he does hold on to the bottom step of the podium. Saber is the best from the bunch in 4th.
Shiki Kuroeda makes it two in the top 5 for Japan.
Zhupa is 6th. Kalf, Potts and Anderberg make up positions 7 through 9.
Kulppi completes the Top 10.

Latvia will make their way to the Elite Road Race via their win today. Japan and Taiwan make up a Asia heavy podium in the B Road Race.
